Look who we met!
We met President and Sister Morgan!!!
We found out only a few days before (via the FB page) that he would be speaking in a sacrament meeting in Springville. We were so thrilled we would be back from WA and could go and meet these two people that have been such a great influence on Landon in Chile. The building was only about 5 minutes away. It was a packed house of ward members, returned missionaries and parents like us. Dad had a busy day at church after being gone but meeting this couple was a top priority and he was able to sneak away and meet us a little after the meeting started. I saw Elder Myers family walk in so I greeted them which was nice. The Morgans were the last speakers with a youth speaker and a temple sealer before them. Unfortunately not a lot of time was left for them. But their talks were wonderful. (I recored them Landon and will send them to you through good drive). After the meeting it was a mad dash to the stand, which eventually moved outside and turned into a reception line. In that line we also met up with Elder Lloyd's parents. It was his mom that took the pictures. We had a nice visit with them as well.
When we meet the Morgans they were very complementary of Landon. We could tell they truly knew him when they described him as a "pure" and "solid" missionary and how he could completely trust him anywhere and as a missionary. They expressed their love for them and asked that we share it with him as well. I might have shed a few tears while visiting with them knowing the influence he had on you Landon and also that it wasn't too long ago you were in his presence. Sister Morgan also got a kick out of sharing the same name with Lydia, and Mason it was sweet as they even knew about you as they asked about you as well. They are wonderful people and we can see how you have grown to love them so much.

Another fun person that we met was this new little friend for Gracie named Grace that is from Germany! She is Holly Beaird's niece and was visiting WA while were were their from Germany. She lives in Frankfurt. She came out to the lake with Holly and Gracie loved having a friend her age with the same name from "Germany" where her big brother has been. Plus this little Grace also speaks german just like her big brother!
4th of July at Lake Tapps was fun! Here are a few pictures!
Getting ready for the parade!
The parade, followed by free hot dogs at Steves
Matt fixed the wave runner so we took it for a few spins around the lake.
Fireworks out by the lake!
A few other pictures of playing at the lake. The weather got great the last week!
Gracie loves the canoe!
Lydia dock jumping with the Hatch and McInelly girls
We also went to a Mariners game. Mariners played against the Angles and they won. Mariners are hot this year. It was a fun game.
Gracie loved it and got into the dancing and eating treats.
Funny picture of Tara. Since Caleb always loves Mariners games she put his picture on a bobble head guy and took it to the game to get a picture of it there. I caught this funny picture of her dancing to a song with the bobble head.
While we were at the temple Dad took Jacob golfing for the first time. He mostly liked it.
You might be surprised to hear that I jumped off the dock two times while in WA. Once was right after this picture was taken. I power washed Grandpa and Grandma's patio and boy does it make you dirty. My legs were the dirtiest but all the way up to the top of my head also got a good covering. Boy did it feel good to jump in and get cleaned off. I didn't have any hesitation jumping in cause I wanted to be clean so badly.
Have a fantastic week! You are constantly in our hearts and thoughts. We love you dearly and know you are doing great things.
