15 years blessed with the best entertainment!

Hi Landon and Mason!

How was your week?

Our week was full of Jungle Book!  Jacob had a show every day last week.  He was Baloo for 3 of the shows.  It was fun to watch him be on stage and be this fun loving bear!

At his last performance I realized this was the end of a 15 year era of Elementary school musicals.  For 15 year straight we have had someone in an Elementary school play and it all started when the two of you were munchkins at Gildo Rey.  Little did we know at the time how many plays our kids would be apart of.   Having musicals in an Elementary school isn't super common so I count us very blessed to have people in the schools you guys and Lydia and Jacob went too that were willing to allow kids this opportunity.   Gracie is anxious to get her chance to be on stage, but we will have to wait a few years, so this isn't the end of an era just a break.  And incase you are wondering I also counted how many plays total (including Jr. High and community theater) we have participated in and the total was 26 plays!!!   And each of those plays I have seen 2-4 times so that means I have probably watched close to 100 musicals with my kids in them.  Such fun sweet memories!

Grandma  came down for Jacob's last night of being Baloo!

Gracie saw every play too.  She loved sitting in the kid section looking for some a friend to sit by and hoping Dad will buy her some treats from the concession stand.

We had a fun visit with Caleb and Alyssa!  Lydia and Alyssa spent Saturday hanging out in Provo going to the Temple, and hanging out at BYU.  They met up with Caleb and went to the Volleyball game and to Brick Oven.  Lydia kind of likes hanging out around BYU, you might have a visitor often next year;)

They got to our house late Saturday night and went to church with us on Sunday, then stayed till 6ish so Caleb could get back to Rexburg.  Caleb was very chatty and seems to be doing well.  He hit it off with Grace and played lots with her.  I told him his only break from playing with her was when he went to Elder's Quorum.

Gracie in her rollers Saturday night so her hair can be curly in the morning!

Gracie went to a princess party that her dance teacher put on.  One day she came home with and invitation to a party and she was so excited.  Her dance teacher was doing this as a fun raiser for her entry into Miss Springville/Mapleton.  I was a little nervous dropping her off cause it was a 3 hour party and she was one of the younger ones.  But she couldn't be more excited and she did just fine and came home very excited to tell us about it all!

Jacob has been sick again this weekend.  Gracie thinks she was sick a little too (I think she really wanted to lay on the couch and watch a show).  Do you think she looks very sick???

Excited to hear from you this week!
LOVE YOU LOTS!
