19 Years and counting!
Greetings to our favorite Elders!!!
First----- Happy Birthday this Friday!!! Even though it will be the first birthday of yours that I won't be with the two of you, you both will be dearly remembered and celebrated here at home. Can't believe you are going to be 19!!! What a joy you have been for those 19 years!
Just for fun here are some birthday memories......
Many pictures of all your birthdays. Now my challenge for you is to take pictures of yourself on your birthday this year;)
And a fun little tidbit. Gracie can recognize you both in these pictures and even tell who is who. Only on your 1st birthday did she get it mixed up:)

This past weekend I attended Kevin's funeral with Grandma, Melissa and Gracie. It was a beautiful funeral and many nice things were said about Kevin. His family is very sad and will miss him dearly. My heart went out to his children and grandchildren who lost their Grandpa and Dad. I also felt sad for Kristie who has been through taking care of Grandpa Nielsen and seeing him pass right on to taking care of Kevin and watching him pass as well.
Below is a picture of Kristie and Kevin's family at the cemetery in Logan.
Other little tidbits:
-I saw Emelia twice this week at Quick Quack carwash. She is working there. Was never able to talk to her as she had the job of spraying the cars down. We waved and smiled at each other though:)
-5th grade drama..... Jacob came home today with a note from a girl asking him to be his valentine signed by her name. Only problem, he doesn't know who she is... he's pretty stressed about it:)
-Lydia is worried she is going to have to kiss Prince Eric in her play..... Ahhhh, it's pretty stressful for ALL of us!!! (Hopefully he just kisses her hand:)
-Gracie tried to potty train this week. Was good one day and the rest were a fail! We will try again another time in the future.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my almost 19 year olds!!!

Their immediate family
While I was at the funeral Dad took Lydia and Jacob skiing. It's been such a strange winter with little snow so the ski days have been limited. We got snow last Thursday, so they raced up to the mountain and spent the day hitting the slopes until they were wiped out.
Dad and I met Chris and Melissa at Tucanos in SLC to celebrate our birthday with Grandma. It was delicious and embarrassing as they made us stand up and dance while they sang Happy Birthday!
It was fun to have Grandma for two days while she was visiting for the funeral. We missed Grandpa, but know he was busy at home getting ready for Nauvoo. Kaitlyn and Brett came over Sunday to see Grandma as well.
