Maite

Happy New/Last Transfer Landon and Mason!

Crazy to think this is the last time you will be transferred inside the mission.  It's the final best weeks of your mission.  Hope you are enjoying them and we look forward with lots of anticipation to June!

Utah's weather is weird!!!  One day it's hot and sunny the next cold, windy and rainy.  We on Saturday it was a summer like day.  Gracie had a blast playing outside with Quincy.  They sat in this container filled with water for a good amount of time.

Also this weekend we got a new TV!  Gracie was so excited she asked if she could take a picture of the TV.  Here's the picture she took.  We got it cause Lydia was going to have a party and possibly watch a movie.  We thought it was time to get a new TV since our old one had that blue line in it still.  Now we ask ourselves "why did we wait so long".

It has a feature that you can cast what is on your phone or computer onto the TV.  So for Come Follow me we tried it and it worked well.  Sometimes it's hard for everyone to be on the same page when we each are on our own devices.  Sot his worked well.

Here is a cute picture of Gracie on Sunday.  She was sick last week for a day and was in bed all day.  She told us the next day that Jesus healed her.  She said that Jesus can heal Lydia's leg too.

She loves going to primary.  She loves preschool.  She loves her friends.  She is a smart little girl.  She is working on not crying about silly things (like candy, shows, playing with Quincy etc).  She is a picky eater.  We think she might be a vegetarian, cause she won't eat meat.  She loves chocolate milk and likes to color pictures and give notes to everyone.

The most important females in your life right now↓

This week I substituted a Kindergarten class, and two 3rd grade classes.  When I went to my kindergarten class in the teacher notes she said there was a girl name Maite who doesn't speak English well.  The teacher said she cried the whole time last time they had a sub, so just be aware of her and reassure her that her teacher was coming back the next day.

When Maite came into the room, I got down and introduced myself.  Some of the kids said she doesn't understand very much cause she just moved her from Chile. I got really excited and said you just moved here from Chile??  I told her I have a son in Chile and I love Chile cause he lives there. She got a big smile on her face!  I later asked her when in Chile she was from she said "Santiago".  Yay, I said that is where my son is.  Maite was so excited.  She became my best little friend that day and when she left he gave me a hug.  It was a sweet connection because I had that mission connection.

I love you!
