March goes out like a Lion!

Hi Landon and Mason!

Hope you guys had a good week!  Excited to hear about the first week of this transfer for both of you.

This week at home Jacob turned 12!   It's hard to believe he is that old now but I guess he is.  He woke up to some donuts.  Gracie was also excited it was his birthday too so she could also get a donut.

Gracie (with help from me) made Jacob this card.  She was so excited to give it to him.
Jacob was then off to school and he was excited cause that day his class was going to Lehi for a Robotics competition.

The weather was nice on Jacob's birthday so Gracie wanted to ride bikes to preschool that day.  She's been asking to do that for awhile.

Right after school we had Jacob's birthday party.  He invited 11 boys and it was fun and a bit crazy.

We took them bowling at BYU.  It was a great time to go as we had the place to ourselves.  They had a fun time and Jacob was the highest scorer on each game which was exciting for the birthday boy.

The day after his birthday we woke up to snow!  One day it's warm the next it's cold!  Gracie really wanted to make a snow man so we made hopefully the "last" snowman of the season.

On Friday we took Jacob out to eat for his birthday. He really wanted ribs from Molly's.  He was in heaven! Can't wait to take you guys there again when you are home.

Grandma and Grandpa got here Saturday night just in time to go see Lamb of God in Orem. Then on Sunday the Findlays came down for dinner.  We celebrated all the March/April birthdays.  Here they are:  March:  Jacob/Grandpa/Chris . April: Gracie/Grandma

The kid table for dinner!

The adult table.

Dad recruited the men to help move the trampoline and swing set after dinner.   They made it look easy and it was a big help to us.   Corn will go where it was later this spring.

Grandma made Lydia this beautiful quilt for her early 16th birthday. It will be a keepsake/ treasure for a long time.  It's really pretty.

Do they celebrate April Fools in Chile or Austria?  Well Jacob didn't want to miss out on April Fool this year so he got up early and dressed up like a clown so he could wake up Lydia.  It scared her a bit and then he went over to the Cooks next door and woke up their kids.  He had fun morning of teasing!

Finally, this is an everyday picture that happens every night.  Dad takes Gracie to bed and reads her story.  She loves for him to take her!
