Tour, play and sickness.....
Hello Landon and Mason!
Wow this week went fast! Excited to talk to both of you. Here are a few highlights from our week.
Lydia went on choir tour to California. She comes home tonight (Monday night). We have talked a bit with her each day and she is having a great time. Probably will have more pictures next week after she gets home. But here are some she has texted us.
Here is a picture of her at Disneyland!
The weather changed on the day they went to Universal Studios but Lydia loved having rain at Harry Potter World. She said it made it feel so real.
More Harry Potter World in the rain! She loved it!
Over the weekend. Jacob got really sick. He was pretty much down Saturday and Sunday. We were worried cause on Monday he had a dress rehearsal and then performances each night this week. We were grateful when he woke up this morning and felt better. He went to school early and did well at as Balou for his dress rehearsal in front of the school .
When he is not Balou for 1/2 the performances he is a prickly pear.
Gracie and I going through the car wash. Have to go through very often in the winter months of Utah. Did I tell you in December I got hit by the car behind me in the car wash. It wasn't either of our faults and the damage was very small so instead of having Quick Quack fix it we opted to just take two free years of car washes. Our poor van has been through a few crashes and bang ups here in Utah;(
Gracie being Gracie... she is a character. She's outgoing, happy, and funny. She's not afraid to talk to anyone. She is smart, wants to do good things, and prays every night for her missionary brothers. Her primary teacher told me this weekend that all the kids in her Sumbeam class want to sit by her, she is a friend to many.
Well March certainly came in like a Lion round here. Last week, there was no snow on the ground. Then it snowed all day Saturday into Sunday. This picture was only taken at the beginning of the snow fall so image much more. We are dreaming of spring though and Dad got started on making garden boxes in the garage over the weekend. The garden boxes are going to go where the playgroud stuff is and that is getting moved to where the garden is. Some fun changes happening around here. We hope it's done before you get home, but if it's not.... guess you'll get to help;)
Enjoy every minute of your mission! You will miss it in the future. We love you very much!
