Jam'in in January!

Hi Landon and Mason!

How are you guys this week?  Our last week was good, here is a few pictures from last week.....

School was out on Friday for end of term.  We decided to take advantage and go skiing again.  This time we went to Brighton.  It ended up being a beautiful day up there.  Brighton is up a canyon in south SLC a little over an hour away.

Dad and I spent most of the time helping Gracie.  She got a little better this time and we brought out what she likes to call the Reindeer ropes, cause it's like she is the reindeer and dad is Santa.  Towards the end of the day we let her take a break and Dad and I traded off going down the bigger hills.

Gracie had fun having Liv Parriton over.  Gracie is really in to painting with water colors right now.  She does it often.

Jacob participated in a chess tournament.  The picture below is from his last round.  Him and his opponents game went extra long, so long that they were the last ones playing in all the grades.  They were both determined to win but it ended in a tie.  Jacob did alright in the tournament, he finished about 11th place out of 22.  He would have liked to have finished in the top few but the competition gets tough in 6th grade.  The kids that come are some serious chess players!

Over the weekend, Chris and Melissa came down to meet us for dinner to celebrate Melissa's birthday.  Brett and Kaitlyn joined us too.  We went to Tucanos and we stuffed our selves.

Gracie loves it when Lydia paints her fingernails and toes.  Today Grace begged Lydia to take a break from homework so she could beautify her .

Jacob played a few basketball games.  These pictures are from Monday nights game.  It was in Provo at the new Provo High School.  Jacob's team won and Jacob scored 8 points.  It was a fun game to watch.  His team is getting better!

Hope you are doing well!
We love you very much!
