Warriors!

Hi Landon and Mason!

Happy going into week 70 Landon and week 69 Mason!  Excited to hear about the Chilean Temple Dedication this week and to hear about your move closer into Innsbruck Mason.

We are doing well at home.  Last week was pretty mellow week.  The weather was nice but it is dropping this week.  No snow but it will definitely be coat weather.

For our pictures this week.  Here is a cute picture of Gracie on her way to preschool.  She LOVES preschool and wishes it was every day.  She is a social girl (just needs to learn to not be so bossy) but she loves to be around other kids and she loves her teacher!   She is also a smart little girl.

That same day Gracie had her first dentist appointment.  Gracie wasn't too excited about her first dentist appointment.  All day leading up to it she would say "when I am bigger, I'll go to the dentist".  I had to remind her she is getting bigger.

Jacob went first so she could watch how brave he was. Then it was her turn and she willingly climbed into the chair.  I got out my phone to take a picture and in that second her bravery turned into being scared as you can see in the picture.  She cried a bit until we got a show on the TV and I laid down in the chair holding her while the dentist talked to her about what they were going to do.  Then she got very brave and they were able to get her teeth cleaned.  This experience reminded me of your two first dentist appointment.  You were nervous and only let Dr. Paul brush your teeth with a toothbrush.  You've come along way in getting over that nervousness and as well as other things.

Just a dentist plug from your mom..... Make sure you are brushing your teeth at least twice a day and also flossing your teeth once a day.  And if your retainer fits, PLEASE wear it.  You will be grateful when you come home if took good care of your teeth out in the field.  Ok, enough about that......

It was also our ward Halloween Party!  I didn't take any pictures but I do have this one.  Gracie was pretty insistent on wanting to be Moana this Halloween.  She had fun meeting up with her friend Hadley who was Jasmine.

The big job is DONE!!!! 4 big trees moved.  The leaves on the purple ones were starting to fall, so they are a little bare but we are please that Dad can do the impossible!  And the last two went a little quicker than the first.   Hoping (and praying) they survive and continue to grow big to give us even more privacy!

Saturday our family was invited to the Hickman's Halloween Party!  We didn't spend a lot of time putting costumes together until last minute (beside's Jacob's costume- we did do some planning--Do you know what he is?).   I don't think we did too bad for last minute costumes.  Dad's mummy costume hadn't been worn in many many years.

The Hickmans go all out.  It was pretty fun.  It's outside so we opted out of the Moana costume for Gracie and she wore the pumpkin.  Do you remember wearing it?  She was super excited about it and loved wearing it.

Sunday night our ward had a youth fireside.  This fireside was held at Kelly Wosnick's house (she is the YW president).  She has several connections and invited an well known church author and Clint Pulver (you might better remember him as Elder Kesler from Saturday's Warrior).  It was a fun fireside and after we told him we had to get a picture of him for our two missionaries.  He told his story of the "worst/best mission call ever",  I don't know if you heard it before you left but it's good it's were he gets called to Boise Idaho and he shared an experience he had there where he needs to remember and rely on the foundation of his testimony.   (if you haven't you'll have to when you get home, it's pretty good)

We love you and continue to pray for both of you always!
