Football, Fans, Fast, Family, Fall, Faith, Fairytales and Fruit tree!
Hi Landon and Mason!
Hope you are both doing well! We can't wait to hear from you soon! You are constantly in our hearts and minds. We love knowing you are serving the Lord and doing your best. We pray for you always and love you very much!
So this past week it's all about the F's!!!
1st Football!
The USU/BYU game was pretty Epic for us Aggie fans! USU dominated the whole game and for the first time in 44 years USU beat BYU two years in a row. USU 45 BYU 20 We had a great time cheering them one and it was fun to see so many USU fans there as well. We sat in the right section!

Fans!
The tradition to decorate the Cooks house and them ours died this year (probably cause Dad cleaned it up last night right after they decorated). We still got them a little something.
Notice the color of blue after CTR. It was kind of fun to see Richele in it at the game that night:)
They got us back by filling our mailbox with a ton of BYU taffy. We had a good chuckle and have since enjoyed the taffy.
Even though we were cheering for USU we did cheer for one BYU player! Devin Kaufausi (Mason's 1st trainer). He doesn't play a lot yet, but it did get out there a couple times and he made a tackle. We left the game a few minutes early and on our way out we were able to walk closer to the players. We could see him really well, the worker saw me taking a picture and told us we could go down and talk to him. Dad went down and called to him and he came over, so I got to meet him. He was very friendly and asked how Mason was doing and said "Man, I love that guy". We told him we were cheering for him and he said he's doing what he can out there and having fun. Since the game was ending our chat with him was brief. I took a picture of him smiling at the camera and said it was for Mason, but unfortunately my camera didn't save it, I was bummed but here are a few of him on the sidelines before the end of the game. (He's a big guy, I am sure he will be playing more next year)
FAST!
Lydia had her final cross country meet at Regions. She did great and PRed for her final race. She has loved Xcountry and is looking forward to next year.
Family!
Grandma and Grandpa were here until Thursday afternoon. On Wednesday look who showed up at our door. Matt surprised us and dropped by one afternoon. He was actually in Utah for a job interview. He's been looking at other job opportunities for awhile, not sure if anything will come from it but it was a fun surprise. He only stayed for about 2 hours. So in one week I have had all my siblings at my house:)
FALL!
Looking for things to do while Grandma and Grandpa were here, one afternoon Gracie, myself and them went to Jakers the pumpkin patch. It was a little rainy that afternoon so we ended up pretty much having the place to ourselves.

The weather really took a turn to the cooler side this last week. It was chilly but since USU was on fire we weren't too cold.

Grandpa and Grandma treated the adults to a play at the newer Hale Centre Theatre in Sandy.
It was a fun night.

Fairytales!
Gracie continues to love princesses. Here she is on Monday dressed as Ana!
Faith!
Couldn't leave this one out this week! We really enjoyed General Conference. Lydia and I also enjoyed the Women's broadcast. The talks were so inspiring and encouraging. I loved the applications given in so many of them. We are also excited about the new Home Center Gospel Curriculum and church schedule. What a wonderful time to be a member of the church.
Fruit tree!
Dad started the Fall backyard project. He took out 4 trees and moved two.
And one more F for Football ....again!
Jacob's football team won again. They are still undefeated and the last game of the season is this week. Then it's on to the playoffs. Jacob played well!
Hope all is well with you guys! We love you very much!
