Dance Your Heart Out!

Wow last week went fast! Did your last week go fast?
A few things that happened at home last week.
Grace started Ballet!
I found a little dance studio that is once a week in someone's basement. It's very reasonably priced and fits Grace's interest right now. I took Gracie to the stores and bought her a leotard and some ballet slippers. After we got those things she was so excited. So excited she wanted to wear them all the time.
She did pretty good until about 1/2 through when she decided she'd had enough and wanted to play with some toys she saw on the side. A little confusing for a 3 year old to be told she can't play with toys, but she got through it and ended up finishing the class after she had a little fit.
We feed the cross country team dinner! We had about 40 kids over to eat dinner. Lots of spagetti!
This is a younger cross country team this year. Lots of freshman and sophomores.
It was the Murray Cross Country Invite!
Lydia ran the sophomore race. You guys are very familiar with this course. Lydia had a great time and she is loving Cross Country!
Remember this hill? The second picture her finishing. She did great!
Time: 24.40 Place: #51 out of 130 in her race.
Here are the two tag-alongs. It was hot so they weren't too excited to run around to all the cheer points.

The Abbington put on a fun "free" carnival on Saturday. Gracie and I went over for a little while. She had a blast!

She had been struggling with some shin splints but she's been doing some exercises and we also got her some new shoes so she is doing much better.
