All is well!
Hello Landon and Mason!
It's another new week! Hope you are both doing well. Home is good, we had a nice weekend with Josh and Melisa's family and enjoyed some of Art City Days.
Here is a little of what we have been up to.....
Friday morning we woke up to theses sights.... It was so fun to watch all the balloons and one even landed on our street. Josh's family was here so it was fun for them to see too.
A perfect balloon flying day!
Jacob is doing well at the piano. He has lessons during the summer. It's hard to remember to practice, but he's doing alright. He is also enjoying having two baseball games each week. This year he's the Mariners again--Go M's!
Gracie loved having Quincy over and dressing up as Ana and Elsa!
Lydia is following in your footsteps and was super excited about the book sale at the Mapleton City Hall. She was excited to find several books for $1 in a series that she is reading. It's the "Children of the Promise" series. She says she is keeping them for you guys to read cause she knows you'll like them. It's about an LDS family during WWII.
With Lydia's involvement with youth court she volunteered at Art City Days. She got assigned face painting. She texted me and was super stressed about it cause she thinks she is not an artist. But she got into it and even stayed an extra 1.5 hours longer than she needed too because she was having so much fun. Guess service does that to you!
On Saturday the Findlays came down and we went to the Art City Days parade! The parade was good and we enjoyed watching it from this shady spot thanks to dad who reserved the spot the night before.
The candy chasers. Lots of candy was thrown!
Gracie had fun waving and catching candy as well. She loves candy so she was very motivated!
After the parade we came back to our house for a BBQ! Brett and Kaitlyn came too.
Josh taught us how to hypnotize our chickens. When you hypnotize a chicken all it does is lay still for 1 minute.
We had a water balloon/ water fight and then played Ticket to Ride. It was a hot day... 98 degrees!
Josh's family left Sunday morning! We had a nice visit with them. We talked a lot about missions while they were here! It was fun to here some of Josh's stories when he was in Switzerland and Germany.
Cousins=Instant friends!
This week Lydia is off to EFY and Dad goes to High Adventure this weekend. Jacob is enjoying Math Camp this weekend and Gracie and I go to the park each morning while Jacob plays tennis.
Excited to hear from you this week!
LOVE YOU ALWAYS!
