Spring Break!

Hello Landon and Mason!

This last week was Spring Break!  The Findlays invited us to go to San Diego with them.  They have a connection to a nice rental house that someone rents to them at a reasonable price and is close to the beach and has a garage full of beach toys and bikes. We took a 10 hour drive down south to enjoy hanging out at the beach and enjoying some of San Diego's sites.

A walk along the boardwalk at Mission Beach!

In order to conserve days off for Dad with summer coming up.  Dad worked the first day while at the rental.  Luckily it had a nice desk with a pretty nice view.

The house had wet suits and buggy boards for all.  We had some good laughs seeing the Dad's squeeze in to the wet suits.

Gracie even had a wet suit!  She loved the sand and Dad and her made a pig out of sand.  Gracie is still crazy about pigs!

Lydia and Jack were fish and played non stop in the water.

Jacob played a lot too.  Just a little more cautious.

We visited the San Diego temple.  Dad and Lydia went inside with the Findlays and did baptisms.  Jacob, Gracie and I enjoyed the pretty flowers outside.
It's always fun to visit the temple when you are somewhere new.

Do you remember going to the Mormon Battalion?  We went there one afternoon.  Jacob and Lydia didn't remember going the first time.  They loved it!

We also went on a hike that overlooked the ocean.  Gracie was obsessed with the map.
Surprisingly she really enjoyed the hike!
While I was in San Diego, I heard that Kiersten Bliss was running the So. Cal Ragnar.  It happened to run right down a street close by.  So I meet up with her for a few minutes before she had to hit the ground running.

We also went to a place to watch Hang gliders run off the cliff and fly over the ocean.  It was pretty cool to watch.  The hang glider below had fun getting really close to Lydia/Jacob and Jack on the platform.

Lots of nights playing "nines'  Jacob was the lucky champion 3 out of 4 rounds!

Final morning donuts at the ocean!

We made it home safely and gearing up for a new week.   We hope you both had a good week!  We think about you and pray for you all the time!

WE LOVE YOU!!
