Busy Week!

Happy Spring!

Wow this week here went really fast!  It was a very busy week.  I think this might be the most pictures I have ever sent....

The best thing that happened last week was Gracie's birthday!
You both sent her a video and she loved them soooo much!  She watched of them probably 20 times each.  I think that was the highlight of her day!

She woke up in the morning to Jacob making her a trail of Reeses to a birthday sign and a gift of a sock monkey that use to be his.  She was so excited about the candy that we put them on her waffle for breakfast.  You get away with that kind of stuff on your birthday;)

Later that morning we went to the park to meet up with some friends from the ward.  She had fun playing and it was a pretty decent weather day, that we ended up staying 3 hours!

We had just a little family birthday party at home.  Gracie still LOVES Peppa Pig so I made a Peppa Pig cake out of homemade fondant and she picked out the cute party plates (she was so excited about the plates and napkins)

After a dinner of pizza we opened gifts and had cake!
I sent you a video of her opening her Moana doll, she was so excited it was kind of funny.

Grandma and Grandpa sent her a rag pioneer doll from Nauvoo.  It's kind of scary looking but she was excited about it.

She also got a bubble machine and some peppa pig toys.  It was all perfect for her.

The next day Jacob crossed over in scouts.
Brother Davis goes all out when they cross over!
He has a whole ceremony for it and they wear a Indian head dress and get paint on their face, symbolizing characteristics of a scout.  It's pretty fun!

Biggest group so far for Brother Davis to cross over at one time.

The cross over!  Jacob knew the scout oath perfectly when he crossed!

That same night Lydia had a choir concert!  It was Music at the Mountain, so a few of the MMHS choirs were there too.  She also found out that day that she made Sorelle Voce for next year!!
She's excited.

I thought you would be interested in seeing the MMHS mens chorus.  Only them and the women's chorus sang.  They have different uniforms this year.... and they sounded pretty good.

On Friday night we went to the Jordan River Temple open house with Grandma!  This is Dad's temple of his youth and where he took out his endowments.  It was also build the same time as the Seattle temple so the layout is very similar.  They have since remodeled and it's beautiful inside.

It was a nice evening!

Two random pictures of Gracie.  One is of her playing with Quincy Cook.  If you ask Gracie Quincy is her best friend.  She thinks Quincy is pretty fun.  The other is of Gracie's fake being mad!  She pulls that on us every once in a while!

On Saturday was Lexie Roenfeldt's wedding.
On Friday it snowed but on Saturday it was beautiful!
She got married in the Provo City Center temple.  We got to attend the sealing and it was very sweet.
Her new husband seems very sweet!

At the reception:  Tracy Biddulph and myself were in charge of cutting the cake.  We are pretty inexperienced with this kind of cake cutting. But we had fun!

Gracie and Baylee were shy with each other at first and then they became the best of friends.

Father daughter dance!

Remember the Linds?
Madison was also there.  She is dating Eric Beecher.  He lived in Auburn and moved when he was young.  We know his parents well.
Lydia and Braden Roenfeldt.  They haven't seen each other for a long time.
It was a fun night to reconnect with old friends.

Was in the seminary building Sunday night as our new Elder's Quorum presidency got set apart.  Saw my two favorite missionaries on the board.  Had fun finding all your friends too.

Phew.. that's all.  Mason let me know if you can't see the pictures and I will send them separate.

You are very loved here at home!
Keep working hard!  You are doing great things!
