Eight shows in a row-- Done!
Hello Elders!!!
We finished 8 consecutive nights of plays (with the exception of Sunday of course). Since I wrote last week Lydia had her final show and it as a hit. A packed cafeteria and not enough seats for everyone. I think the word got out about how good a show it was or possibly that it was a great FHE activity. Not sure.
Gracie loved every show she watched. And by the last show she was very comfortable getting up on the stage and thinking she was a performer.
We were a little worried she might go through withdrawals but then Peter Pan started the next day!
Jacob was an amazing Captain Hook! In the end it was probably a bigger part than Peter Pan. He had 4 shows, and was Captain Hook for two of the shows. The first show and the last. He did great the first show, but the last show he stole the show as he really came out and played a mean Captain Hook. It was fun to watch him! I think it surprised many to see that side of him. In fact the Principal said to me. "Wow, Jacob is so quiet and reserved at school I never thought he had that in him, so fun to watch him"
He had fun being in the show with a few of his buddies.
Kaleb McGill was the chief indian, Jack Schiever-Peter Pan, and Tyler Nobahara- Smee

Gracie wanted to dress up for Jacob's play too. I suggested a pirate and she didn't like that idea at all. She wanted to be Tinker Bell and a cute little Tink she was.
It was fun to have Grandma Evans come one night and Grandpa and Grandma McKinney saw the first show the night before they headed to Nauvoo.
On the other 2 nights, Jacob was a pirate. He had fun doing lots of Arrrrgh's
On Saturday, the sun was out strong, so Dad, Jacob and Lydia made this big snowman. Dad called it the "Last Snowman". Meaning the last snowman of the year.
This is what it looks like today (Monday). Yay for the coming of Spring and warmer weather.
(I think we are switching seasons now Landon)
Have a great week!
You are both constantly on our minds and in our thoughts. In fact Lydia and Jacob were just laughing yesterday about the funny things you would say to each other. Like "your face".
We love you!
