Priorities!

Hi Landon and Mason!

We are doing well at home.   A few things that we have been up to this week are:

Jacob had his Blue and Gold Banquet this past week.  It was his last Blue and Gold and the last for our family.  Kind of funny to think about.  He actually had two basketball games (one for each team) at the same time as Blue and Gold.  But Jacob was insistent that he go to his pack meeting and that scouts was the most import out of the three.   Brother Davis is the cub-master and does a great job.  He is very enthusiastic and the cub scouts love it!

At the same time Jacob, I and Grace were at the Banquet.  Dad and Lydia were at the school board meeting cause Lydia sang with her singers group there.  She did a great job!  Too many things at 6pm on a Tuesday night;)

Dad and I went on a date Saturday night.  We went out to dinner and dad ate this huge hamburger.  We thought you'd enjoy seeing a picture of it.
Then we went to BYU's Divine Comedy.  We were one of the only older ones there, but that was ok, it was still fun.  The only thing was that most of their sketches were about dating......

Lydia said she has never made a cake all by herself until today.  It turned out pretty good.  She made a heart cake getting ready for Valentine's day!

With 9am church we have a little more time now for Sunday walks.  Gracie thinks all walks end at the park though so we had to make a stop at the Mapleton City park for a few slides.  She loves to play at the park and this week we went a few times.  It's been ok to go, since there hasn't been any snow STILL!

 Winter in Mapleton this year!

You probably don't know that Malida (Luke's wife) is pregnant.  On Friday night the family threw a shower for her.  It was at Josh and Stephanie's and a few people that work in the gym came too.  Here are a couple pictures.   Luke and her are very excited about the baby coming.

Hope your week was good!  Love you lots!  Love, MOM
