Best part of Christmas!

Hi Mason and Landon!

It as SOOOOOO fun and SOOOOOO great to talk to both of you yesterday!   You are both have a special spirit about you that even though you are 1000's of miles away from home you brought it into our house this Christmas!  We have had a nice Christmas but hands down the best part of the whole season was the time we got to talk to you yesterday!

Because it's Christmas we have several pictures!

Here are a few from the Nielsen family Christmas party!

Photo booth!

Gracie as a sweet angel!

All the little Nielsen great grand kids!

We played "Do you want to build a snowman" Here are some of the the snowmen.
Monique put us in groups.  There were 6 snowmen.  Richards below was kind of funny!

Jacob played the piano and Gracie sang "Christmas, Christmas" to it.  Jeremy's little boy Miles tried to steal the show but Gracie still out sung him.  Later when she put the angel wings on he said really loudly.  "Wow, you look beautiful."  He kind of liked Gracie I think!

Seeing Santa with the bigger kids!

Dad and I went and saw one of Lydia's last performances of the Christmas Carol.

We had a nice Christmas afternoon visit with Grandma and Grandpa!

Before church on Christmas Eve!

After church we came home and had a nice quiet Christmas Eve dinner.  After I set the table Lydia said to me.  Just having 4 plates on the table is just sad.  Our family seems so little with out you.

After dinner we went to South Jordan to Josh and Stephanie's for a little Christmas Eve party.

A funny game was played and we had a little nativity

On the way home it had started to snow.  We drove slow and were able to get home after a little bit longer drive.  We read the nativity together, sang some songs and instead of acting it out again Gracie put the Nativity figures on the tree.  She loved doing that and it kept her busy and quiet.

Pajamas and leaving cookies for Santa

Ski's for Christmas!

A kitchen for Gracie!
Grandma gave her a princess apron

A white Christmas!  Seems like we have had a white Christmas almost every year we have lived in Utah.  Dad doing the driveway and sidewalks SOLO:(

But the absolute best part of Christmas was talking to you guys!!!
It truly left us with a brighter smile on our face, a sweet spirit in our home, love in our hearts, more gratitude for you, a peace knowing you are doing good things and are right where you need to be.
We love and miss you dearly!  And we are so grateful the next day is Pday!

Love MOM
