Life Changing.....

Hello Landon and Mason,

It's been a good week here at home.  We hope this email finds you both doing well.  As always we are excited to hear from you.

Jacob this week went to a student council leadership conference.  It was an all day event held at BYU.  Much like EFY as their are speakers, a few activities and food(doughnuts and pizza).  One of several speakers was John Bytheway and also Lydia's fun director of Lion King this last summer.  This being something Jacob has never really experience I wasn't sure how he would enjoy it or not, but when he came home all he could talk about is how much he loved it!  He even said, Student Council has changed my life! "That conference changed my life, I just loved it so much!"  He certainly felt inspired by the motivating talks her heard.  Maybe he will break out those Bytheway CD's soon.

Lydia's Christmas Carol is only 1.5 weeks away from opening.  Lots of driving to Orem we do go.   To her Christmas music started in October as she hears it daily.
She had a fitting for her costumes,  Her are the costumes she will be wearing for the play.  She is really excited.  Better pictures will come when her hair and final touches are done, but for now here you go....

Funny Gracie keeps us on our toes.  On Saturday night Dad and I took her with us to Cubby's  (Lydia and Jacob were with friends).  She loved the hat from there she has worn it until I secretly thew it away Sunday afternoon (shh).  She even slept in it, and threw a big fit cause I wouldn't let her wear it to church.
On Sunday, I got to sub in nursery and see first hand how she does.  It's pretty busy in there with lots of kids, but Gracie does great.  She loves it and said to me on the way home.  "That's a fun church mommy, fun church"  She also loves to play with her babies at home (and at nursery).

I had a lucky day on Saturday, Lydia and I went to buy her some new shoes for church.  There are a few new stores in Spanish Fork across from Walmart.  One of the new stores is Famous Footwear, so we went there. They were having a drawing for a free pair of shoes.  I entered and an hour later, they drew my name!!!!  I was so excited I screamed in the store and embarrassed Lydia.  Anyway I got these warm new boots cause it's going to start getting cold soon.

Even though we know that snow is around the corner the weather this past week has been prefect, which makes it hard to be excited for the snow.  We spent an afternoon playing at the elementary school with Gracie and Jacob.  Jacob's basketball has started up and he has been good about practicing lots.  He beat me in around the world, so I think he'll have a good year cause I'm pretty hard to beat;) jk

Look what Dad fixed this week......
(Before and After)
Selling it is still in debate, but I think Dad might win.  So if you think it should stay, let it be known...

Question:  Do either of you know where the Cherokee decal is that goes here?  Let us know if you do

Dad had a PPI with President Mills this past week.  He enjoyed seeing your smiles that night took pictures of your pictures in the seminary building.  Sorry Dad's phone doesn't take good pictures.  I will try and get better ones sometime.

We all love and adore the two of you!
