Chickens and Pigs....
Well it was a Chicken and Pig kind of Halloween!
Jacob made a Chicken Jack-o-lantern and Gracie had fun being a Pig all day long.
Caleb Cook was Colonel Sanders (KFC guy). It was funny seeing him and Jacob together.
Jacob also wore his costume all day and Gracie and I had fun seeing him at the Elementary School parade in the morning.
After school we went to Dad's work and trick or treated. Gracie loved getting candy. She was in it for the suckers mainly. I need to start training her for next year to get more chocolate!
It was a busy afternoon cause we came home after the Micro Focus party and ate some soup and then Jacob left with friends to trick or treat and Lydia and I took Gracie around. Gracie was pretty worn out by then so she only lasted our neighborhood, but she still made a haul!
The next night Lydia had another choir concert. This time at Springville High. Their program is good and I was impressed, just not as good as MMHS. The fun thing about this concert is a Springville High grad is in Vocal Point. He's one of the main singers. He was there and sang a song with the choir and also did a trio with two of his other brothers. You would have thought it was a fan concert cause the girls in the audience were screaming crazy. Kind of funny!
This is all the choirs that sang that night. Lydia's down towards the bottom.
Well after eating too much candy on Halloween, Dad and I decided to go with out sugar (mostly) until Thanksgiving. Saturday night we were craving a treat, so we found ourselves at Orange Peel!
Haven't been there since Landon's last day........
The person at the counter asked if we had been there before. We said yes, our son use to work here. He asked Landon's name but didn't know him cause he got back from his mission just two months ago but had worked there in high school. He was really friendly and we had fun visiting with him about his mission to Jamaica! (He was there when we were there in January). He even gave us the family discount cause Landon had worked there, so SWEET! Just too bad they forgot to leave the granola out of Dad's Nutter Butter smoothie;)
Dad's phone doesn't take good selfies.....
Not too much going on this week. Dad has been really busy with church stuff and Lydia's rehearsal schedule is getting busy, busy, as they actually open in three weeks!! yikes!
Keep up the great work! Be outgoing! Smile! And know you are very loved!
