On the road again....
Hi Landon and Mason!
I can't believe Landon only has two weeks left at the CCM and Mason is half way done at the MTC. We love reading your letters and seeing how the MTC's are changing your lives.
A few things at home:
Swimming lessons ended for Gracie. She loved the water the last week. So much that she would say to me when we were swimming "Let go mommy, let go" I didn't of course but I was glad she didn't scream like she did the first two days.
Probably how you might have felt the first few days at the MTC, a little overwhelmed and worried but now you are wanting to get set free into the mission field.....
The pictures below are of her class and some before and after her class. The picture with the towel wrapped around her neck was how she looked every day after her lesson. She would insist to wear her towel as a scarf until we got home.
Lion King ended last Friday. It was a big success and Lydia has a wonderful experience. I believe it was an answer to many prayers for her after having some struggles socially with friends this past year. She absolutely loved it and pretty much cried (along with the rest of the cast) the last two days of the performances.

Last night we got to Washington. It was a long drive but we did what we use to do and got up really early. Jacob was wanting us to leave by 3am but we compromised and left at 4:30am. There was a little more room in the car with out you guys but you were missed.
Dad put lots of family videos on the iPad to keep Grace entertained. She watched lots of you two.
We had looked on our phones and noticed the traffic in Snoqualmie would be bad so we drove through Chinook Pass. It's a little longer but so pretty. We stopped and enjoyed the views. We thought these mountains might look like those in the Alps or maybe the Andys.
The Findlays got here yesterday about an hour after us. Kaitlyn and Brett are staying at Matt's house. This morning Melissa and I went and picked blackberries. There are so many on the outer island. And they are bigger than ever. I miss these wild black berries so it made me happy!
I also ran with Tara this morning. She sent this picture to me a little bit ago. I thought it was so cute that you are in the same order. Cute little boys that turned in to handsome men!
Still waiting for Caleb's mission call. Hoping it comes this weekend. We will see!
Love both of you! You are amazing young men and we are blessed as a family for your service. We miss you lots but are just so proud of you! Continue to work hard!
